This particular E 52b receiver used to belong to Vladimir Semenov,
UA9DN, one of the most famous post-war HAM operators in the USSR.
Vladimir had added some modules to E 52b to convert it to a
low-power transceiver for the HAM frequency bands. We decided not to
change anything just to demonstrate how the post-war generation of
Soviet HAMs made use of the captured German Wehrmacht equipment. |
