Broadcast Receivers of 1930s and 1940s

  • 6N-1 (6Н-1) - Tabletop broadcast receiver, LW, MW and SW bands. 6 tubes superhet, IF 460 kHz. Designed in 1936 in Camden, NJ, by a team of American and Soviet engineers. Prototype - model RCA 6T2. Manufactured in the USSR from 1937 till June, 1941, at Voronezh Elektrosignal Radio Works. More details about 6N-1 receiver may be found on radiomuseum.org site.
