SHOWCASE 1. CELL 1-42
USSR
Tubes
|
On this picture we show all the vacuum tubes from WG Radio Museum
collection that were manufactured in the USSR in 1938-1945. Not
shown are impressively looking transmitting tubes GU-4 and GKE-100
just because all the samples we have are of 1950s manufacture. Pay
attention to the 6K7, 6F6 and 6H6 tubes in the lower row with the
paint damaged. Those we temporarily took from our RPK-2 airborne
direction finding receiver which was given to us by Russian diggers.
The RPK-2 was found in a dump near St. Petersburg, and the airplane
itself apparently was on fire being hit by German fighter planes.
