At
the left, there is a 1943 issue of "Der Volks
Brockhaus" encyclopaedia ("People's Brockhaus").
For us in Russia such publications are very interesting
because the war between Germany and the USSR was in progress
at that time, and this should have influenced a lot the
contents of so many encyclopaedic entries.
At
the right, there is a 1934
original sales catalog
of a Hamburg radio dealer. We are collecting such sales
catalogs of 1920s and 1930s and currently have nearly 100 of
sales catalogs mostly from Germany but also from England and
the United States.
In
between the books there is a bulky electromagnetic earpiece
of aluminum and bakelite. It was produced in 1917 in
Petrograd, capital of Russia, by L.M. Ericsson & Co.
