Radione R 2
(Military Version) - A special make of well-known Radione R 2 portable
broadcast receiver. LW, MW and SW bands, powered from AC or
24VDC car battery. Manufactured by "Ing. Nikolaus Eltz
Radiotechnische Fabrik" (trade mark "Radione")
of Wien, Austria.
This
version of Radione R 2 had military type of tuning knob (like in Radione ER 2)
and Wehrmacht military designation on the label - "Hersteller: bo".
This proves without fail that this particular R 2 was made for German Wehrmacht
as troops entertainment receiver.
